NOTE: BY CITY COUNCIL ACTION THE SHORT-TERM RECOMMENDED PROJECTS WERE UPDATED ON PG. 29 AND THE LINK HAS BEEN UPDATED TO INCLUDE THE PLAN WITH THE APPROVED CHANGE.
The Long Range Strategic Plan is intended to provide overarching, long-term guidance for elected officials, City staff, and other stakeholders regarding the future development, growth, and management of Haslet. It serves as a reference for decision-making and provides a framework for aligning priorities and resources in pursuit of the Council's goals.
The Strategic Plan contains short-term (1-2 years), medium-term (3-5 years) and long-term (6-10 years) goals. It is meant to serve as a living, working document and will be reviewed and adjusted in conjunction with the annual budget process.
The Strategic Plan identifies 5 Key Pillars for the base--Public Safety, Quality of Life, Infrastructure, Community Involvement. These 5 Pillars will serve as a blueprint for Haslet activities, programs, services and capital improvements for the next ten years.
