A plaque honoring the people whose support made the library possible will be unveiled. We invite you to help us celebrate this occasion. Light refreshments will be served.

2nd Annual Friends of the Haslet Library Adult Spelling Bee

Community Wide Event! - The 2nd Annual Friends of the Haslet Library Adult Spelling Bee is scheduled for Saturday, March 24 at 7 PM. Teams of up to three adults can enter the spelling bee for a registration fee of $15 per team. Audience admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children under 12. Each ticket enters spectators into a drawing for door prizes. Additional tickets may be purchased for more chances to win. Refreshments will be sold during the bee. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Haslet Library. Registration forms are now available at the library.

During the reception the new building dedication plaque honoring the people whose contribution made the library possible will be unveiled. An open house for the public to participate in the anniversary celebration will take place in conjunction with the reception and plaque unveiling.

Lifestyle Improvement Weight Loss Challenge

Community Wide Event! -
The Haslet Lifestyle Improvement Challenge is hosting our final event on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Haslet Community Park. There will be disc golf at the newly updated 18 hole course, a health fair, concessions, & more. This is a wonderful opportunity to promote your organization and be involved in this free family-oriented community event in Haslet!! The festivities will start at 10 am & conclude around 1 pm with the final prize money being awarded for the Weight Loss Challenge Winners.
We are seeking sponsors who would like to promote their business. The event will be promoted on the City of Haslet website, Haslet News eblast, Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce eblast, and flyers sent to all Haslet residents. T-shirts with your logo will be given to participants at the event.
Thank you very much for your consideration in support of this Event. Your sponsorship will ensure the organization and success of this fun event!! We look forward to working with you !!
Weigh Ins will be held at the Haslet Public Library, 100 Gammill St, Haslet, Texas, at 10am on the following dates:
