The Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Haslet, Texas will convene in regular session on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 6:45 PM in the Haslet Community Center located at 105 Main Street.
AGENDA
1. Call to order and announce a quorum is present.
2. Citizen Participation and Comments.
Please fill out a "Citizen Comment" form in order to address the Planning & Zoning Commission, and turn the form in prior to the Citizens Comments to the Planning & Zoning Secretary. Speakers are normally limited to three minutes (time limits can be adjusted by the Planning & Zoning Commission).
3. Oaths of Office.
A. Commissioner Place 7
4. Consider and act on the election of the Planning and Zoning Vice Chairman.
5. Consider and act on the October 26, 2009 meeting minutes.
6. Follow-up discussion from the Planning and Zoning Chairman concerning the status of the proposed changes to the Oil and Gas Ordinance and the feedback that has been received from the Mayor and the City Council members thus far.
7. Workshop-Follow-up on the duties of a Planning and Zoning Commissioner.
8. Workshop, consider and act on monthly calendar of proposed changes, projects, amendments, or meeting dates that the Planning and Zoning Commissioners will address.
A. Workshop.
B. Consider and act.
9. Workshop on architectural design.
10. Executive Session: The Planning and Zoning Commission may enter into Executive Session during the meeting to seek legal advice from its attorney on any posted agenda , or to discuss any item that is authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act to be discussed in closed session, including:
A. Section 551.071, Government Code, – Consultation with Attorney; A governmental body may not conduct a private consultation with its attorney except: (1) when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about: (A) pending or contemplated litigation; or (B) a settlement offer; or (2) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this Chapter.
11. Consider and act on executive session items.
12. Items to be placed on the next agenda.
13. Adjourn.
