| Haslet Economic Development Strategic Plan |
On Monday, March 15, 2010, Haslet City Council adopted the Haslet Economic Development Strategic Plan as designed by Marty Wieder of Strategic Consulting. This included the plan itself, a Mission Statement and a Vision Statement. This plan was the result of months of workshop meetings and research by the Haslet Type A and Haslet Type B Economic Development Corporation Boards of Directors, respectively, working with City Council to set priorities.

| 12" Water Line on FM 156 - Request for Bids for Construction |
| The City of Haslet is accepting bids for the construction of a 12" Water Line on FM 156 from Blue Mound Road to the Fire Hall. The bid packets are available from the office of Belcheff and Associates, Inc., the City Engineers. The bids will be opened on May 12th at 3:00 p.m. in the Community Center at 105 Main Street, Haslet, TX 76052. |

| Haslet Type A and Type B Economic Development Corporations |
Haslet has both a Type A and Type B Economic Development Corporation working to grow our business community in a planned and sustainable manner.
The Vision Statement of the City Council and EDC's of Haslet is:
VISION STATEMENT
Haslet, Texas chooses to expand its property tax base and increase sales tax revenues by capitalizing on the surrounding growth associated with Alliance Airport, maximizing IH-35W frontage and working to become a popular destination in which to live and work—while still maintaining its easy commute, small town feel and country culture.
The Mission Statement is:
MISSION STATEMENT
As the members of Haslet’s City Council and Economic Development Corporations, we have planned for Haslet’s economic future—and are committed to maintain a unity of vision, to follow through on the City’s joint Economic Development Plan and to respect and to protect the many good neighbors whom we serve.

You may leave a message for their Chairman, Bill Frisbie, if you so choose. The Type B EDC meets usually the first Thursday of each month at the Haslet Community Center at 6:30 p.m. Agendas are posted in advance on the City website.

Important Information for All Vendors:
Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code requires that vendors meeting certain conditions are required to file a Questionnaire Form CIQ with the City Secretary. The form may be found at:http://www.ethics.state.tx.us/forms/CIQ.pdf.
Vendors are responsible for ascertaining if they need to file the form. Please review Texas Local Government Code section 176.006, which can be found at:
http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/LG/htm/LG.176.htm#176.006
By law, the CIQ questionnaire form must be filed with the City Secretary for the City of
Haslet within 7 business days. A person commits an offense if the person violates Section 176.006, Texas Local Government Code. An offense under that section is a Class C misdemeanor.
