Doing Business With the City of Haslet

As a local government, Haslet encourages competition among potential vendors to obtain quality good and services at the best prices available to maximize dollars invested by the residents and businesses of Haslet.

Follow this link for the list of  Haslet Local Government Officers, as defined by Texas Local Government Code 176.001(4).

Important Information for All Vendors: Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code requires that vendors who have a business relationship with a governmental entity to file a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire for Vendor Doing Business with Local Governmental Entity with the City Secretary. The form is available by following this link

Vendors are responsible for ascertaining if they need to file the form. Please review Texas Local Government Code section 176.006, which can be found at: http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/LG/htm/LG.176.htm#176.006

By law, the CIQ questionnaire form must be filed with the City Secretary for the City of Haslet not later than the 7th business day after the date the vendor becomes aware of the facts that require the statement to be filed.  See Section 176.006(a-1), Local Government Code. A person commits an offense if the person knowingly violates Section 176.006, Texas Local Government Code. An offense under that section is a misdemeanor.
