Kids Fire Camp
The Haslet Fire Department will host their annual Kids Fire Camp on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 8am-5pm.

Our kids fire camp is for children ages 7-15. This camp teaches the children about fire safety and basic first aid skills. The children are immersed in the daily life as a firefighter. They  participate in a brief physical activity to get their bodies ready for the day of fun learning. The children are then assigned a group that they will remain with the rest of the day. The kids are then assigned to one of several classes that they will rotate through all day. These include first aid, cpr, operation of an AED device, fire apparatus walk through, use of firefighting tools and equipment, and a ride in a firetruck. If they make it through the day, we host a group challenge at the end of the camp putting their newly learned skills against each other. The award ceremony is the last event of the day.

T-shirts and lunch will be provided to all participants

Cost is $50 per child
