The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has launched the Emergency Homeowners' Loan Program to assist homeowners who are at least 90 days late on their mortgage, and unemployed or working fewer hours because of the economy or a medical condition with monthly mortgage payments up to $50,000.00

Haslet Economic Development Strategic Plan

On Monday, March 15, 2010, Haslet City Council adopted the Haslet Economic Development Strategic Plan as designed by Marty Wieder of Strategic Consulting. This included the plan itself, a Mission Statement and a Vision Statement. This plan was the result of months of workshop meetings and research by the Haslet Type A and Haslet Type B Economic Development Corporation Boards of Directors, respectively, working with City Council to set priorities.
