THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS WILL CONVENE IN SESSION AT 6:30 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2007 IN THE HASLET COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 105 MAIN STREET, HASLET, TEXAS.

Agenda

1.          Call to order and announce a quorum is present.

2.             Consider and act on the June 22, 2006 minutes.

3.             Variance request from Rivermill Partners, LTD. to waive the requirement of facades greater than one hundred feet (100’) in length being required to incorporate wall projections or recesses of ten feet (10’) or greater.

            A.             Public Hearing.

            B.             Consider and act on variance request.

4.             Variance request from Rivermill Partners, LTD. to waive the requirement that the landscaping plan be sealed by a licensed architect.

            A.             Public Hearing

            B.             Consider and act on variance request

5.             Executive Session:   The Board of Adjustment may enter into Executive Session during the meeting to seek legal advice from its attorney on any posted agenda item, (Section 551.071, Government Code, – Consultation with Attorney; A governmental body may not conduct a private consultation with its attorney except:   (1) when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about: (A) pending or contemplated litigation; or   (B) a settlement offer; or (2) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter.) or to discuss any item that is authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act to be discussed in closed session.

6.             Consider and act on executive session item(s).

7.             Adjourn.
