THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS WILL CONVENE IN SESSION AT 6:30 P.M. ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2007 IN THE HASLET COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 105 MAIN STREET, HASLET, TEXAS.

Agenda

1.          Call to order and announce a quorum is present.

2.          Consider and act on the April 25, 2007 minutes.

3.          Consider and act on electing a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman for the 2007-2008 year.

4.          Variance Request from the provisions of the City of Haslet Code of Ordinances, Chapter 14, Exhibit A – Zoning Ordinance, Section 11 [260] #10. Pedestrian Access and Circulation submitted by Mr. Adam Furlough, Carter & Burgess, representing Intermodal Container L.L.P.

A.         Public Hearing.

B.          Consider and act on variance request to waive sidewalk requirement.

5.          Executive Session:   The Board of Adjustment may enter into Executive Session during the meeting to seek legal advice from its attorney on any posted agenda item, (Section 551.071, Government Code, – Consultation with Attorney; A governmental body may not conduct a private consultation with its attorney except:   (1) when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about: (A) pending or contemplated litigation; or   (B) a settlement offer; or (2) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter.) or to discuss any item that is authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act to be discussed in closed session.

6.          Consider and act on executive session item(s).

7.          Adjourn.
