THE 4A ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS WILL CONVENE AT 4:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, APRIL 21, 2008 IN THE HASLET COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 105 MAIN STREET.
AGENDA
1.
Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is present.
2.
Consider and act on the March 25, 2008 minutes.
3.
Swearing in of new members.
4.
Discussion and action on following projects:
Project #1:
Participation in the amount of $200,000 for the construction of a one-lane street that will follow the right-of-way of the future Haslet Blvd. (Hwy. 170).
Project #2:
$250,000 for the construction of asphalt transitions on the corners of north side of Westport Parkway at Intermodal and the east side of Hwy. 156 at Intermodal.
Project #3:
$45,000 for the engineering fees to increase Intermodal Parkway to a 4-lane road from the intersection of Intermodal Parkway and Westport Parkway north to the BNSF Railway.
5.
Discussion on any future projects and or agenda items.
6.
Consider and act on recommendation of the 4A Economic Development Corporation 2007-2008 Budget to the City Council.
7.
Adjourn.
The 4A Economic Development Corporation reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), and 551.087 (Economic Development)
