THE 4B ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS WILL CONVENE IN REGULAR SESSION AT 6:30 P.M. ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2007 IN THE HASLET COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 105 MAIN STREET.

 AGENDA

1.          Call to order and announce a quorum is present.

2.             Consider and act on approval of the January 11, 2007 minutes.

3.             Consider and act on approving the Request For Qualifications for Master Planning of “Old Town”.

4.          Review and update on High Speed Internet for businesses for the entire City.

5.             Consider a project to purchase property located in “Old Town” at 100 Main Street/The Feed Store, Haslet, Texas.

            A.             Public Hearing.

            B.             Consider and act on recommendation of above proposed project to City Council.

6.             Consider and act on providing funds from the advertising budget line item in order to advertise on the Northwest Metroport Map for a cost of $641.25.

7.             Consider and act on creating a project for funding postage for the 76052 mailing area for a survey on preferred eating and shopping establishments within that zip code area and possibly provide funds for prizes for a drawing of the participants of the survey.

8.             Consider and act on future projects.

9.             Executive Session:   Section 551.087, Government Code, and deliberation regarding economic development negotiations.

10.             Consider and act on executive session items.

11.             Consider and act on items to be placed on the next agenda.

12.             Adjourn.
