Transportation Improvement Program Modifications
The TIP is a staged, multi-year listing of surface transportation projects proposed
for funding by federal, State, and local sources within the Dallas-Fort Worth
Metropolitan Area. The TIP contains projects with committed funds in current and
future fiscal years. Quarterly modifications to projects within the TIP help to
maintain accurate project listings. Project listings are financially constrained to
available resources. The latest set of quarterly project modifications will be
presented for public review and comment.

Staff is reviewing projects potentially delayed due to a lack of TxDOT funds for
capacity improvements. Staff will provide information on the impacted projects and
solutions to keep the projects on schedule. Related RTC policy recommendations
will also be summarized.

The Regional Transportation Council identified several priority transportation
projects and initiatives for the region. Staff will summarize the progress and next
steps for the 10 most important transportation opportunities for improving mobility
and air quality in the region. Several projects like improvements to I.H. 635 (LBJ
