THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS WILL CONVENE IN REGULAR SESSION AT 7:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, AUGUST 20, 2007 IN THE HASLET COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 105 MAIN STREET.

10. Ordinance No. 0803-07 a Zoning Change Request to change from the current zoning classification of (R-8) PD Urban Residential District/Planned Development and (R-9) PD Urban Residential District/Planned Development to (R-8) Urban Residential District from Gary Allen Development Partners on an approximate 192.88 acre tract of land being a part of the James Rightly Survey, Abstract No. 1268, and the Henry Robertson Survey, Abstract No. 1259, Tarrant County, Texas, commonly referred to as property located near the southwest corner of Blue Mound Road and F.M. Hwy. 156 South or the Northglen Heights Subdivision.

11. Preliminary Plat Application with Variance Requests from Gary Allen Development Partners for Northglen Heights Subdivision, property located on a 192.88 acre tract of land being part of the James Rightly Survey, Abstract No. 1268, and the Henry Robertson Survey, Abstract No. 1259, Tarrant County, Texas, commonly referred to as property located near the southwest corner of Blue Mound Road and F.M. Hwy. 156 South.

B. Consider and act on Preliminary Plat Application with requested variances.

12. Consider and act on Ordinance No. 0802-07 amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance providing that Wind Energy Systems may be established when authorized by a Specific Use Permit.

13. Consider and act on Resolution No. R803-07 dedicating certain real property for park purposes.

14. Consider and act on Resolution No. R802-07 denying the request of Atmos Energy Corp., for an annual gas reliability infrastructure program (GRIP) rate increases.

15. Consider and act on renewal of the Interlocal Agreement between Tarrant County and the City of Haslet for Law Enforcement Services for the fiscal year 2008.


16. Consider and act on placing a proposal to adopt the tax rate for the fiscal year 2007-2008 on the September 17, 2007 regular city council meeting agenda.

17. Executive Session: The City Council may enter into Executive Session during the meeting to seek legal advice from its attorney on any posted agenda item, or to discuss any item that is authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act to be discussed in closed session, including:
A. Section 551.072, Government Code, deliberation regarding real property.
B. Section 551.071, Government Code, – Consultation with Attorney; A governmental body may not conduct a private consultation with its attorney except: (1) when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about: (A) pending or contemplated litigation; or (B) a settlement offer; or (2) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter.
C. Section 551.087, Government Code, deliberation regarding economic development negotiations.
D. Section 551.074, Government Code, to deliberate regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.
E. Section 551.073, Government Code, to deliberate about gifts or donations to the City.

18. Consider and act on executive session items.

19. Consider and act on items to be placed on the next agenda.

20. Presentation of finance options for capital projects.

21. Adjourn.
