THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS WILL CONVENE IN REGULAR SESSION AT 7:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, JANUARY 15, 2007 IN THE HASLET COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 105 MAIN STREET.

Please fill out a “Citizen Comment” form to address the Council and turn it into the City Secretary prior to the beginning of the meeting.

Lavois Survey, Abstract No. 991, in Tarrant County, Texas more commonly referred to as being located on the west side of Harmon Road near the intersection of Harmon Road and Westport Parkway.

Consider and act on the Pre-development and Professional Services Agreement between Westwood Development and the City of Haslet.

Consider and act on the Westport Water Line Easement Agreement and Temporary Construction Agreement between AIL Investments (Hillwood Properties) and the City of Haslet.
12.
Consider and act on awarding the Library/City Hall Bid.
13.
Executive Session:
The City Council may enter into Executive Session during the meeting to seek legal advice from its attorney on any posted agenda item, or to discuss any item that is authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act to be discussed in closed session, including:
A.
Section 551.072, Government Code, deliberation regarding real property.
B.
Section 551.071, Government Code, – Consultation with Attorney; A governmental body may not conduct a private consultation with its attorney except:
(1) when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about: (A) pending or contemplated litigation; or
(B) a settlement offer; or (2) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter.
C.
Section 551.087, Government Code, deliberation regarding economic development negotiations.
D.
Section 551.074, Government Code, to deliberate regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.
E.
Section 551.073, Government Code, to deliberate about gifts or donations to the City.

Consider and act on executive session items.
15.
Consider and act on items to be placed on the next agenda.

Adjourn.
