The Haslet Fire Department Is A Regional Emergency Services Agency Providing Fire And Medical Emergency Response As Well As Other Dispatched Calls To The Citizens Of Haslet And The Immediate Unincorporated Areas Of North Tarrant County In A Defined 911 Area. Additionally, HFD Provides Mutual Aid Support On A Regional, Multi-County And State-Wide Basis. HFD Also Provides Community Support, Education And Prevention Services To The Community It Serves Either In A Direct Capacity Or Through Mutual Aid.
We Operate From One Station Centrally Located In The City Of Haslet And Cover A District Of About 19 Square Miles.
HFD Is Comprised Of 25 Members Including 5 Paramedics, 3 EMT-I’s and 10 EMT-B’s. The Officers Include 1 Chief, 1 Division Chief/EMS Director, 1 Captain, 3 Shift Lieutenants And 1 Chaplin.
HFD Holds Training Every Tuesday Night Except For The First Tuesday Of Every Month Which Is Reserved For A Department Business Meeting. Additionally, HFD Personnel Take Part In Live Fire Training, Fire/Rescue Education Classes Held At Area Colleges and Training Facilities, And EMS Continuing Education Programs In Order To Continue Raising The Level Of Service Provided To The Residents In Our District.
