THE PARK BOARD FOR THE CITY OF HASLET, TEXAS WILL CONVENE IN REGULAR SESSION AT 6:30 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11, 2007 IN THE HASLET COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 105 MAIN STREET.

AGENDA

1 - Call to order and announce a quorum is present.

2 - Consider and act on the approval of March 14, 2007 minutes.

3 - Update on the Haslet Community Park.

4 - Consider and act on lessons learned from Easter Egg Hunt, April 7, 2007.

5 - Meet with Haslet Fire Department Support Group to consider and act on possible joint expansion of the Fourth of July Parade.

6 - Meet with Chris Norwood of the Ponder Park Board to answer questions as to how we conduct business.

7 - Consider and act on improvements to Gammill Park.

8 - Consider and act on improvements to Nance Field and practice fields behind Fire Station.

9 - Consider and act on future projects:

     A - Groundbreaking Ceremony for Haslet Community Park - TBA.

     B - Concert in the Park - coordinate with Park Opening in late Sep / Oct timeframe.

     C - Fall Festival / Halloween - coordinate with school Halloween party.

     D - Haslet Hustle - November 3, 2007.

     E - Tree Lighting Ceremony - December 1, 2007.

10 - Consider and act on marquee / banners to promote events / city publicity.

11 - Consider and act on Park Board finances.

12 - Consider and act on monthly newsletter.

13 - Consider and act on items to be presented at next Council meeting. 

14 - Consider and act on setting the date and proposed agenda for the next meeting - May 9, 2007.

15 - Adjourn.
