Contractor Registration

All electrical, mechanical, plumbing and irrigation contractors must be registered with the City of Haslet prior to any permit being issued. To register, copies of state licenses, photo I.D., and certificate of liability insurance must be submitted. A registration fee is also required from mechanical and irrigator contractors. The fee for new registrations is $50 and the annual renewal fee is $25. For questions, contact building permits at 817-439-5931, extension 115. Go to Online registration. Payment accepted is cash, check, money order, and credit cards (additional 2% fee applied when paying by credit card). Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Permits

The city's building inspections department is responsible for issuing permits and inspecting all construction and alterations that occur within the city.
