Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Disposal

Porch Pickup Program for Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste

Beginning March 2020 the City of Haslet is excited to offer a new Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and E-Waste (certain electronic devices) Porch Pickup Program with pickup services provided by Haslet waste contractor Republic Services.  This program replaces the voucher program that required residents to buy a voucher and transport their HHW items to Fort Worth’s disposal facility.  There is no additional cost to use the porch pickup program.

Haslet residents are able to enter a request for pickup from your residence on the city’s website by following this link.  You must enter your Haslet Water Utility Account Number to enter a pickup request so be sure to have your water bill handy when entering your request.   The  request  will  be  submitted  to  Republic Services.  Republic Services will  mail  an  instruction  letter  to  the requestor that contains labels for items to be picked up as well as packaging instructions.  The letter will also contain the collection date. Items should placed out by 7 am on the scheduled collection day on your front porch—not at the curb.  If the location of the items to be picked up is not visible from the street, please call 817-953-7214 to report same.  Republic Services will pickup on the scheduled collection day sometime between 7 am and 7 pm.   Please note that only materials specified when the pickup services was scheduled and those that are properly labeled and packaged will be collected.
