Haslet Community and Economic Development Corp. New Business Improvement Grant Program

The Haslet Community and Economic Development Corp. Type B (HCEDC) introduces the new Business Improvement Program.

The Program's objectives are to improve the physical appearance of businesses in Haslet and enhance the City's commercial corridors.

City of Haslet business property owners and business tenants may apply for financial and technical assistance to renovate or restore the aesthetic appearance of the business including exterior signage, lighting, commercial building façades, drought resistant landscaping elements (xeri-scaping), enhanced windows and doors, or creating unique shopping and dining venues.

The Business Improvement Program offers a 50% matching grant of up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for the funding of well-designed improvements. The HCEDC will review program applications on a first come, first serve basis. 

City staff will be available to provide assistance to applicants through the conceptual stage at no cost to the applicants. Early meetings with staff are encouraged to confirm eligibility of grant proposals. Please contact Maurice Schwanke, EDC Coordinator at 817-688-2734.
