PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - July 6, 2022
CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - July 7, 2022

The Haslet Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on July 6, 2022 at 6:30pm in the Haslet Community Center, 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052, to consider the following:

  • A request for a Specific Use Permit to allow a fourth accessory structure that measures 12’x14’ (168 square feet) on a residential lot described as Lot 25 Block 7, Haslet Park Addition within the City of Haslet, Texas, more commonly known as 305 Berry Drive, pursuant to Section 4.3.6 iii of the Haslet Zoning Ordinance.  
  • A request for a Specific Use Permit and Site Plan pursuant to Article IV Table 4.4.3 of Chapter 14 of the Zoning Ordinance, for Time-Fill and Fast-Fill fueling station within the City of Haslet, Texas, located at the northwest corner of Railhead Drive and Intermodal Parkway.
  • A request for a Specific Use Permit pursuant to Article IV Table 4.4.3 of Chapter 14 of the Zoning Ordinance, for a Temporary Concrete Batch Plant within the City of Haslet, Texas, more commonly known as being west of John Day Road and South of LeTara Point Drive and in the future LeTara Phase 2 Addition.
  • A request for a Site Plan to add two portable buildings to the Haslet Elementary School site described as Lot 1, Block 1 of the Le Tara Elementary School Addition within the City of Haslet, Texas, more commonly known as 1188 Wisdom Way, pursuant to Section 2.5.4 of the Haslet Zoning Ordinance.
  • A request for a revised Site Plan to add an additional 30,000 square feet of building on a commercial lot described as Lot 3, Block 1 of the Westport Park No. 1 addition within the City of Haslet, Texas, more commonly known as 905 Railhead Drive, pursuant to Section 2.5.4 of the Haslet Zoning Ordinance.
  • A request for a revised Site Plan to add 166 additional parking spaces, 43 additional dock spaces, and 200 additional trailing parking spaces to an existing building on a commercial lot described as Lot 1, Block 5 of the Westport Park Addition within the City of Haslet, Texas, more commonly known as 120 Intermodal Parkway, pursuant to Section 2.5.4 of the Haslet Zoning Ordinance.

The City Council of the City of Haslet will also hold a Public Hearing on the same matters on July 7, 2022 at 7:00pm in the Haslet Community Center, 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052.

At said time and place, all persons shall have the right to appear and be heard of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned will take notice.

NOTICE OF PROJECT 
CITY OF HASLET TYPE A ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
TYPE B COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Ch. 504 and 505 (the “Code”) by the CITY OF HASLET TYPE A ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND TYPE B COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION to designate a PROJECT as defined by the Code for the acquisition of not more than 125 acres from EDC funds to be developed for public facilities including recreation and public works facilities, to create jobs, and to promote economic development in the City of Haslet, Texas, such project to be known as 

HASLET 2025 PROJECT

Opportunities for public comment will be posted 72 hours in advance of the meetings of the Type A Economic Development Corporation and Type B Community and Economic Development Corporation and posted on the City of Haslet website at https://haslet.org/ .

CITY OF HASLET PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Haslet Engineering and Public Works Department and Transportation Department at Tarrant County hereby gives notice of the City’s and County intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located upstream of Avondale-Haslet Road.  Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Stream HEN-2 from a point approximately 25 feet downstream Avondale-Haslet Road to a point approximately 4,200 feet upstream of Avondale-Haslet Road.

As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water- surface elevations shall decrease and be established, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow within the area of revision.

Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the City of Haslet at 101 Main Street, Haslet, TX 76052.  Interested persons may call City of Haslet’s Engineer at (817) 431-1800 and/or Tarrant County’s Floodplain Administrator at (817) 884-1250 for additional information from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
