NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for ASHMORE FARMS STREET IMPROVEMENTS will be received by the City of Haslet, addressed to the City Secretary, at 101 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052, until 2:00pm Wednesday, June 14, 2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Community Room at 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052.
The project generally consists of approximately 2,560 SY of reinforced concrete intersection paving, 4,700 SY of full-depth HMA pavement repair, HMA crack sealing, 30,500 SY HMA slurry seal, and miscellaneous pavement markings, located within the Ashmore Farms Subdivision in the City of Haslet.
The construction plans, contract documents and specifications, upon refundable deposit of $75, may be obtained at the following location:

Deposit will be refunded if the plans and specifications are returned to Belcheff & Associates, Inc., in useable condition within 10-days of the bid opening.

Upon new user registration and log in, a request to join the group should be submitted under “Edit Account” tab. The website administrator will then make files accessible.
The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
The successful bidder shall (when requested) demonstrate adequate and substantial documented experience in the construction disciplines necessary for constructing the project. Appropriate instructions and bidder experience requirements are described elsewhere in the bound contractual documents.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS - PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL
The Haslet Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct Public Hearings on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 6:30pm in the Haslet Community Center, 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052, to hear the following items:
- a request for a revised NISD Learning Center Amended Site Plan as per Article II Section 2.5.4.G of Chapter 14 Exhibit 14A of the Zoning Ordinance, for adding additional parking and drainage facilities, located east of School House Road and between proposed Haslet Parkway and Nance Field; and
- proposed amendments to Article IV, Table 4.3-1 “Table of Accessory Uses” of the City’s Zoning Ordinance as contained in Chapter 14 Exhibit 14A of the City’s Code of Ordinances; and
- proposed amendments to Article VII 7.4 “General Terms Defined” of the City’s Zoning Ordinance as contained in Chapter 14 Exhibit 14A of the City’s Code of Ordinances.
The City Council of the City of Haslet will also hold Public Hearings on these same matters on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 7:00pm in the Haslet Community Center, 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052.
At said time and place, all persons shall have the right to appear and be heard of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned will take notice.
