Youth Programs

Story Times Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Story times at the library are a great way to foster a love of reading in your child. We encourage parents and caregivers to remain active participants during story time. You are your child’s first and most important teacher, so help them strengthen their literacy and language skills by showing them how much fun reading, singing, and playing together can be!

Whether your child has special needs or simply wants the experience of reading to a canine companion, Reading to Rover is a great way to provide your child with a friendly, non-judgmental audience. For independent readers in 1st to 5th grades on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - Register at the circulation desk or call (817)439-4278, ext. 201.
