MedStar Mobile Healthcare Services

The City of Haslet partners with MedStar Mobile Healthcare Services via an Interlocal Agreement to provide ambulance service in Haslet. Read the latest MedStar Annual Report (PDF).

MedStar has a comprehensive website that provides contact information, as well as online bill payment, downloadable forms, online EMS Standby Requests, and information regarding MedStar's StarSaver Membership program. MedStar's StarSaver membership is available to most* who live or work in the MedStar service area. This membership can protect your entire household with unlimited emergency transports for the full year of your active membership. The membership covers anyone who permanently resides in your household, who is included on your application!

Only $55 for members with health insurance or $110 for those without insurance. As an average bill for one ambulance transport is $1,000, this program is well worth looking into.

*Due to State of Texas regulations, Medicaid recipients are not eligible for the StarSaver program. (Read more about this program and restrictions on MedStar's website).
