Library Volunteers

Individuals 14 years of age or older are welcome to serve as volunteers at the Haslet Public Library for such purposes as:

  1. Assisting the library staff with routine tasks.
  2. Earning student community service hours or merit badges.
  3. Earning court-ordered community service hours.

The Library Volunteer Policy document explains the scope of work volunteers can expect to be asked to do and includes two applications. Volunteers are typically scheduled for 1-2 hours weekly. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. All volunteer hours are assigned by the Adult Services Librarian.
