Most items are renewable for an additional two weeks
Any item belonging to the Haslet Public Library may be renewed as often as needed so long as it has not been placed on hold by another patron.
Items that have been borrowed from another library must usually be returned to the owning library at the end of the two weeks. In some instances, one renewal is allowed. If you have an item from another library and hope to renew it, please ask a librarian for assistance.
How Do I Renew Items?
All items auto-renew one time for two weeks unless a hold has been placed by another patron. After that, you may renew items while you are in the library by asking the librarian at the circulation desk, or you may call us or email us. Currently, we suggest you call or email us to confirm that your items have been successfully auto-renewed.
What If I Am Unable To Renew Items Online?
If your account has expired, if an item has already been renewed once, or if you have charges of $5 or more, the computer will disable the online renewal feature. You will need to have a librarian renew for you. Please call us or email us for assistance or ask the librarian to assist you.
